It is pretty frustrating that the local classic rock station just plays the same songs people mostly already know over and over and over again. Deep cuts anyone? Live dangerously!
I've got 4 local listener-supported stations that I usually hit before I resort to the commercial airwaves, so I don't hear the classic rock over-saturation enough to care. But I get where you're coming from.
I listen to “Classic Rock” from my collection and avoid the common radio playlist songs. Just heard In a Gadda Da Vida, all 18 minutes with the terrific drum silo, hammond organ, etc. on the way home today in my car.
It is the music of my yourh and there is much to mine in listening to different artists.
