For those of you that may be following this thread and are interested is purchasing a Hubbell 5362 outlet you need to do your homework before buying.
First the Hubbell pro line brand is a cheaper product line designed and manufactured to compete with other manufacturer’s cheaper lines.
You have to know what to look for, and what you want, when buying Hubbell outlets.
The better Extra Heavy Duty Industrial Series outlets.
Best are non nickel plated contacts with a non plated brass supporting back strap.
Some have nickel plated contacts with a nickel plated brass supporting back strap for corrosion resistance. Some now have galvanized steel back straps, such as the HBL8200H and 8300H hospital grade outlets. (Neither nickel plating or galvanized steel back strap are good for audio)
Some use the deeper body to support the electrical contacts and others use the slim Compact body.
