How did a bands' name originate?

I heard that the name Rush originated from their producer's anxiety from the record label to name that band.

The Who were The Detours before they became aware of another band using that name.
Not sure where the "Rush" posters got their info but Rush Hudson Limbaugh started his career in 1967.  The band "Rush" debuted in 1968.

Coincidence?  I think not!
@stevecham : The Who were called the High Numbers! I got this from my double LP "The Story Of The Who".
The group Chicago was actually named after the transit authority in Chicago. After releasing their first album, they were threatened with a lawsuit by the Chicago Transit Authority, so they shortened their name to Chicago.
