Only you expensive cable owners, is this real?

Actually the really good Mapleshade interconnect cables have a conductor that’s only 54 gauge copper. I just saw that someone mentioned the Omega Mikro a little while back. One assumes that’s not the one you based your cables on. One also assumes you would probably call that Mapleshade cable snake oil or moon dust since 54 ga is about the diameter of a human hair.

While someone is compiling ing desired attributes of cables he might consider purity of the metal, silver vs copper, the influence of adding gold to the metal, the thickness of the conductor, stranded vs solid core, the design of the dielectric and directionality of the conductor.

Diversity of opinion.. Audiophiles are the cutting edge of what real diversity is. Even though they are mostly old, balding White guys. LOL

all this for  $140 cables that come with full return if not satisfied...

It’s not just the cables. its the foil, the pasting things on logos.. it all adds up. I am sure the interconnect cables actually work, no problem. You like them good for you. But spare me the magic colors and bits of junk pasted to things.. If the guys designing your car said you had to paste a picture of your Mother you previously kept in your freezer for a week, to the dashboard exactly two inches to the right of the defroster button.. And you also should place a purple sharpie marker mark around each numeral in the speedometer... Would you??? Would you buy the car from such a person?
