Vinyl***What If***


Hypothetical here:
My new incoming Cayin integrated has a built in MM stage..IF I convinced myself I wanted to try vinyl & knowing absolutely nothing about set up,care etc..& do NOT like to constantly fiddle recommend me a complete,bare minimum setup...
Speakers are Harbeth M30.1 & cables are Nordost Lief Series Red Dawn...Thanks much..

You don't mention the investment you are willing to make for this experiment other than "inexpensive" which is subjective. Therefore, assuming a budget based on your other equipment and stated goals, I recommend a Clearaudio Concept new or used. Its pretty much plug and play and I think has enough performance for you to judge if you want to commit to the medium. You will have everything else you need.
An itemized listing of the efforts required to enjoy vinyl are not unlike the list a good cook would have if recording the preparation of a decent meal. Only a bad thing if you prefer delivered pizza!
My guess is @freedriver can pony up for a Technics 1200GR with Nagaoka MP200.
