Hissing sound coming from tweeters

Right now I'm experiencing a hissing noise coming from the tweeters on my Klipsch RF7II's, and can't figure out what is causing the noise. It's almost like a white noise that is there when the amplifiers are powered on and is not affected by changes in volume.

My system consists of an Oppo BDP-83 blu-ray player, Ayre K-5xe preamp, and two Emotiva UPA-1 mono blocks. My cables are Audioquest King Cobra and Audioquest Emeralds. I would greatly appreciate any help resolving this problem. The hissing sound is very annoying. Thanks.

I sit in front of massive front horns honest 106db my tube amps on nothing playing only sound I hear is my heart pounding. No system induced noise at all....
Dtc, I ended up not going into the dealer. I got lazy and didn't feel like driving up to Seattle in the traffic. I'm probably going to end up buying a Mcintosh MC252 or Ayre V-5xe and sell the Emotivas. Before I dish out the big dollars, I might try a set of those Rothwell attenuators listed above to reduce the gain and noise floor.
I was going to say that johnk really was listening to the sound of silence at 106db sound level until I realized it was the efficiency rating of the speakers and not the sound level.
