Like the new look to audiogon ?
glenee - They did. Just pick the little square box at the top right and pick classic view.

Al - Agreed - I was just going to report the same thing. You beat me to it. Both zip code and price range work for me.
Like the new look to audiogon ?
Unfortunately, there are no headers on the restored classic view, so you cannot sort by the header.  I  should be able to sort by category or by price. That seems to have been lost.

milpai - There is an administrator post above saying they will restore the old format as an option. They did listen.
Radio Paradise Streaming is available on my Aurender Music Server
JRiver is now streaming Radio Paradise in 11/44 flac.
Like the new look to audiogon ?
The new format is pretty much unusable. I really wonder if they did any user research before implementing this change.  Without the list view, it is very painful to do a quick look at what is for sale. The natural instinct is to resist change. But...
Is Velodyne gone?
Good to know.  Maybe their website was just offline for some reason.
Totem Acoustic Element Metal: The WOW factor!
Sorry for the redundant information. I got delayed in posting and klipschking beat me to it.  But I did have the website link. By the way, if you have not looked at Totem's website, take a look. It, like the speakers, is a thing of beauty.
Totem Acoustic Element Metal: The WOW factor!
In  a typical crossover the higher frequencies are filtered out before the signal gets to midrange/woofers. That is not done in these speakers since the Torrent drivers were designed to work with the full frequency range.  The woofers are connecte...

kalali - He is talking about the  Metals, a complete new design from the Hawks. They have a newly developed driver based on Totem's Torrent technology.  Since you mention the Earth, it might just be a misprint.
Is Velodyne gone?
Don't know the current details, other than the website does not work.  Here is an article from last year of them moving from sub-woofers to sell driving vehicles.https://www.audioholics.com/news/lidar-velodyne-shifts-from-subwoofers-to-self-drivin...
Yesteryears' expensive speakers compared to modern moderately expensive speakers
In the specific case of Sonus Faber, I would take the 2005 $12K speaker (Cremona) over the current $12K speaker (Olympica III). The company has changed and I simply like the old technology better than the new technology. Two points - companies cha...
Digitizing LPs
Look at Vinyl Studio. It allows you to split tracks and does tag lookup. It also does a good job of cleanup, although your Sugarcube is doing that already. Only $29 and has a 30 day free trial.
HT Bypass on preamp
I don't see your setup being any different with unity gain or "true" bypass. What you are describing is the advantage of having 2 outputs - one amplified and one not. This situation relates to integrated amps but would be pretty rare for a preamp,...
HT Bypass on preamp
Setting unity gain is a simply way to do HT Bypass and is therefore very common. In that case the volume is control by the receiver but the direct connection to the power amp is from the preamp circuits. As soix says, you can create your own HT By...
