Classical Music: Dorian Label
I have several Dorian "sampler" discs that have a nice variety of music all in SOTA sound!  Check out the samplers if they are still available. You can get a couple of them on Amazon and more on Ebay.

Questions from a Tube Preamp newbie
JUST A NOTE ABOUT CRYOSET...Ron Sheldon is very ill and has sold off his tubes and other gear.  A terrible shame.  I have had great performance from his cryo'd tubes.  Unfortunately bad things do happen to good people.😔
PS Audio P5 - leave on or power off when done listening?
I have my entire system plugged into my P5 save for the two powered subwoofers.  I never turn my P5 off.  In fact, I leave my system powered up at all times so it is ready to rock when I am.
Vandersteen 7 mark ll or big Kef blades
OP - You are getting sound advice from those posting above. Trust your ears, BUT... settle in and listen for a l o n g session.  Which speakers make you want to stay or keep a smile on your face.  I have no experience with the Kefs but have owned ...
What do you like most? Jazz or Classic?
Classical - Jascha Heifetz specifically.  Every piece he played he made it his own.
OPINIONS PLEASE - Phonostage for new Rega P8/Apheta 2 - Sutherland 20/20 or Allnic 1201
@fsmithjack  The Colorado's commit no sins of omission or commission. All you hear is what your components bring to the party.  They are as neutral as any IC's I have ever used.  Feel free to look at my Virtual System to lend context to what I am ...

Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
@mac48025.  To answer your question, according to Krissy, apparently so.  "The Gate" is coming.....
Tube info
I tried the Mullard 4003 tubes years ago sourced from Kevin Deal.  They sounded fine (a bit rich) but became noisy faster than expected from experience with other tube brands.I have been using Ron Sheldon's Cryoset Gold Lion 12AU7's but  since Ron...
Rogue Atlas Magnum sounds bright -- any recommendations?
@mechans  +1. Everything I've ever read about the Cardas Golden cables indicates that they were well named.  I can't speak to the tube situation but what you recommend makes sense.OP - Agree with @donjr  give Rogue a call.  No one knows their gear...
Kudos to Dan Wright of Modwright
I have found Dan to be very forthright, honest and dedicated to his craft. When my 9.0 outboard power supply for my modified SACD player had an issue, he not only repaired it, but modified the circuit so that in case it suffered another catastroph...
Rogue Atlas Magnum sounds bright -- any recommendations?
Any particular reason you're taking the DNA .05 out of your system?  As SS amps go, the .05 was well regarded for being a smooth performer rendering fine detail. If you really want to max. out the .05 you could call Steve McCormack at SMc Audio to ...
Any suggestions for sound dampening and/or control for Golden Ear Triton Ones?
@johnk  +1 Dampening (making something damp) is not recommended! Damping is just fine😜
