Buy the Best digital cable for this setup. The squeeze box stock sound great with the right high end digital cable.

The MS5 are a rear ported speaker. Your room is too small. Find a nice used pair of MS4's .

You need to listen to a X350.5 , in your system. Much better sounding amp than the X250.5 The Xp10 Preamp is the hot ticket for the money .

My XV1-s also likes to play with the back of the arm jacked up higher than the front. First is it looked a bit odd, but it sounds wonderful parked at that vta setting. Sam

Frank sm, Yep, my Phantom arm wand needs locate guide pins also. That was one of the first things I noticed . If the pin to plug centers were offset a bit, might have had a tighter fit! I hold the base and twist the arm wand clock wise,taking out ...

I know there was an updated bearing cap. I bought one! The point on the end is much sharper than on the older caps. VTA , VTF, and lets not forget playing with cartridge loading!

You know there is an updated bearing/cap for the Phantom . Also every time you remove the bearing cap and play with the damping fluid levels , the tone arm needs time to resettle . Does anybody know how long?
