XLR interconnect for new DAC/pre-amp to power amp--suggestions please for $500 or less
So, I followed Stringreen's advice and went with a more moderately priced set of cables.  I ordered Silnote Morpheus Reference Classic XLR 1.5 meter for $345.  Wireworld and Audio Sensibility were just too expensive for 1.5 meter.  Although less ...
XLR interconnect for new DAC/pre-amp to power amp--suggestions please for $500 or less
@ jl35I have been using Cerious GE speaker cables for a couple years now and I'm very impressed with them.  I don't see any Cerious interconnects listed on agon now.  @ stringreenThanks for that info, good to know.
XLR interconnect for new DAC/pre-amp to power amp--suggestions please for $500 or less
@ twoleftearsThanks, looks like a good cable.  I need a 1.5 meter length and that puts the price up to $519, which is a bit more than I'm wanting to spend.
Simple copper speaker terminal jumpers? Lost my originals.
I ended up purchasing these Mogami jumpers.  With the jumpers in place, I seem to have better bass impact and weight than with those cheap metal jumpers I had been using.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-Mogami-Audiophile-Spade-Spade-Speaker-Jumper-Br...
Wireworld
I'll give you a bump because that is exactly what I want to know!
PS Audio Stellar Gain DAC/Pre-amp as first foray into separate pre-amp?
Not looking for phono cables just now.  Now, I just found out that Silnote is having a big sale on cables.  Looking at their Morpheus Reference Classic XLR, which will cost me $345, which is quite a bit less than my Wireworld Silver Eclipse optio...

So, does the Wavelet have home theater bypass?
PS Audio Stellar Gain DAC/Pre-amp as first foray into separate pre-amp?
So, I purchased a Stellar Gain DAC/pre, which should be shipped today.  For my XLR cable to the power amp, I'm currently looking at Wireworld Silver Eclipse 7 or 8.  The only problem is that I need 1.5 meter length and the seller is asking $700 fo...
Legacy Aeris owners which amp do you use and why?
@ geek101FWIW, my Krell FPB 400cx sounds just fantastic with my old Legacy Audio Signature II speakers.  The FPB series date back to around 2002, but if in good condition sound great.  The 400cx is rated at 400 wpc into 8 ohms, but as you surmise,...

@ chandybeCheck with the Legacy people as to how it could be made to work.  Also, I spoke with them in April, and they said they can build a passive version of the Aeris that would be easier to use in a multi-channel system.  With a passive versio...

Well, I will say, that is the size room the Aeris is meant for, i.e., big. Also, with the Aeris’ powered woofer sections, you wouldn’t be needing massive power for the mids/highs either, and your current amp situation should be fine. The Aeris set...
PS Audio Stellar Gain DAC/Pre-amp as first foray into separate pre-amp?
Thanks, it was the Impact that I was considering.  The price is $199, Canadian. https://audiosensibility.com/blog/products-2/phono-cables-occ-copper-and-occ-silver/#!/Impact-SE-Str...Looks like the WW Eclipse 7 will run me more than twice the price.
PS Audio Stellar Gain DAC/Pre-amp as first foray into separate pre-amp?
@ auxinputThanks, I've been looking at a DIN phono interconnect from Audio Sensibility for my turntable.

If you have the room, the set of Rockport Aquila on audiomart has to be the deal of the century.

Well, if you like the Focal sound, there is the Sopra N3.  If you like Legacy Audio, there is the Aeris.  The Revel Ultima II Salon are also about that price new, but a lot of them are showing up around $11k used.  The problem is, there are seemin...
