Top Ten Speakers of All Time? Have I mentioned it before? Gotta be the Dunlavy V. (Mr Dunlavy once admitted to me, on the phone, that V is more accurate than anything he has done, including the VI's. )
Most achingly-beautiful music Aphex twins latest ' druqks' has some of the most beautiful music in electronic music ( and some worst) but the achingly beautiful material makes it worth while. A lot more than worth while.
Any audio gifts for Christmas? I just exchanged my Yamaha micro system ( see post above) for the Denon 'reference' personal system D-F100. (uses Mission 771 series bookshelf speakers) Of course I had to pay little more for the upgrade. I know this time I got it right. I don't k...
Any audio gifts for Christmas? A Yamaha Micro piano craft system MCR-E150 With matching 100 Watt subwoofer. I am amazed at how good the system sounds. Very small and elegant look to boot. High endish sounding without the high end price. Of course this is for bedroom where space...

My Classe CA-400 and Dunlavy V based two channel system, I would say come to 75 sitting in the sweet spot, but Extend that to stereo surround sound mode on Classe SSP-50, CA-400 and Dunlavy II in concert with two channel sitting in NEXT room or ba...
Hall of Shame would not welcome these: Dunlavy speakers, Classe electronics. In my book, They are IN Hall of fame.
Krell HTS, Classe SSP-50, or Lexicon MC-1 I would recommend SSP-50. I have it and use it with Classe amps amd pre-amps. Synergy is added bonus. Highly reliable. Great to look at, particularly with similar Classe components. I have not heard the other two!
