Call me very, very lucky You are lucky indeed. I have to do all the moving tweak behind her back, when She is away with kids to friends or take a sick day,(may buy some goodies) and install! I confess, when there itch to tweak, the stress just kills me!
Best female vocals on CD Add Alicia Keys to the List.
10 sonically best rock recordings ? Days of the New's debut album. Although their 2 nd is quite up there, still does not come close to the first one. Evertime I listen to the album, it just stuns me! It is that good. Their latest although HDCD falls short even further.I second the v...
CLASSE - Great amps or highly flawed? Ditto for a pair of CA-400 I have. No complaints here!I have heard of Krell bashing, but Classe bashing..... ? This is new!
Any opinions on Classe Preamps? Jinmvt,SSP-50 I like for movies and listening to TV in my Surround set-up. I was planning on to sell my CP-45 when I got SSP-50, but listening back to back for stereo, both run balanced mode using same cables. CP-45 WAS MUCH MORE SATISFYING. SSP-5...
Any opinions on Classe Preamps? CP-45 is one gem of a pre-amp. Cp-50 pales in comparision. Cp-60 is only slightly better in terms of transperancy, but musicality across the full band, CP-45 is more complete package, for a very low price. I have SSP-50, which is CP-50, and I stil...
Classe' amps Abecollins, I just came back from a Business trip(stranded in Houston)and here is my reply: The fact that I have still kept CP-45 after aquiring SSP-50, simply CP-45 is much better in musical and lifelike presentation package. SSP-50 in comparisio...

Leave it on or turn it off? Unless you have surge protector. But still every time the hair dryer is turned on upstairsm the loud humming noise from turned on amp scares the hell out of me. I turned my stuff on about 1 hr before listening session.
What equipment do you really like? Dunlavy VI's. Currently have V's, II's and I. Although V's do almost everything right, just knowing there is bigger and better(?) model out there make me lust after them.On the amp/pre amp side there is this mystique about mark Levinson electronic...
Most achingly-beautiful music I also enjoy a lot of classical pieces mentioned above. But let me go aginst the grain here. I think 'the future sound of london's work notably ' life forms' and ' dead cities( later part)'are the electronic music's classical equals. Full of intri...

Have you "lied" to yourself? Felthove, I recently bought another CA-400 amp and use it with my existing CA-400 as monoblocks-I was on power trip. Was thinking look at thoes big ass Monsters, a la Krell Monoblocks. Listened for two weeks imagining great improvement, but was mi...
How is your integrated system set up? Have 2 Channel preamp Classe-cp45. Have HT processor,Classe SSP-50. SSP-50'S main out goes in to Tape-in of CP-45. When tape-loop is off, SSP-50 is isolated and CD player input are in balance input mode and so forth. Simple. |
