Thiel Owners
Hi Tom - I own Thiel 3.6 and have for around 17 years and CS 6 for about 4 years.  I switch them in and out every few months or so, right now using the CS 6.The only amplification I have used are Mcintosh 501 mono’s and Classe CA200, both of which...
Whats playing on your system today?
Soft Machine “Caravan”Jefferson Starship “Red Octapus"
I’m pretty sure I’ve lost my mind...
AP Copper Oval In IC is a big bang for the buck as well.
Reterminate Speaker Cable or not...???? Monster ME2K sigma retro speaker cable
+1Roxy - reterminate and keep it if you like the way it sounds.  Even if it is a backup you use occasionally.

+1sgmlaw love Classe discussions - I have had a CA200 for 20+ years and it still drives my thiels flawlessly. Would love to recap but I counted and can’t remember exactly but there are over 20 capacitors. Yikes!Excited to see what Classe comes up ...

And you will open a can of worms...
Thiel owners please chime in.
After listening for a few days I have found the same thing, on my Mcintosh 501’s the 8 ohm tap sounds better, smoother, than my 4 ohm tap with my CS6.I never would have guessed with the impedance staying below 4 ohms throughout the frequency range...
Thiel owners please chime in.
Interesting sam, I have tried my 2 ohm tap versus 4 ohm and prefer the 4 ohm on my Thiel CS6 and 3.6.  I have never tried the 8 ohm tap but will give it shot and let you know.
Replacement for DeHavilland Ultraverve
Great to hear it worked out, I have been begging her to make a phono preamp.  Love my Ultraverve, great preamp.
New $24,000 inter-connect
I wonder if it is sold in various lengths like say for example 1 inch. Gotta be a good cost break.
Where do cables upgrades have the most impact?
LOL.  +1astelmaszek
