I did unplug immediately. The shake-n-bake routine didn't work originally as the little sucker is probably lodged inside. I need to open the top--I know, it doesn't seem like rocket science--but I just can't figure it out.
Yeah, Just turn it upside down. Shake it out. What falls in can fall out too. Do it over something that you can SEE the screw if it falls out. If it goes into the rug, and you don't then see it. You are 'screwed' (pun intended)
be careful touching things inside of electronics if not an expert. maybe slowly turn the amp upside down and lightly shake to see if it will fall back out. sometimes you get lucky. maybe your local repair shop will do it for a small amount and you won,t hurt yourself or your gear.
