Purchasing Music

Finally, I now have a Rega turntable and some coin to spend on LPs but little knowledge about selecting good vinyl recordings. Can someone help by telling me how to purchase good recordings, for unlike CDs, one can't listen to them before buying.

Thanks

If you look at the records he sells, he has listened to most of them. I have bought from him and he is pretty honest about what he sells.
Rwwear. Thanks that is a good place to start at the end of his artical he states the way life is in the world of LP's:

"But I know that no two records sound the same. I know it for a fact. I also know that you can't tell a good record by looking at it. So if you really want to sell[buy] the best records, you are just going to have to play them."
