When listening to the linn lp-12 should u have the lid up or down?

So while the hinges may not be a heavy duty affair, they are entirely adequate for their purpose

Music Direct sell them for 379.00 but you can usually get 10% or if you have some one there that you do business with maybe 15%. Also check with Dan at DedicatedAudio.com they have some that come with a stepped acrylic platform that are really nice.
