Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

In my main system, I have HFC (CT-1, U and UR) interconnects, speaker cables and power cords however I've never heard the Reveal line.
I would suggest you phone HFC and talk to Casey. He is very knowledgeable and he will give you an honest answer regarding the sound of HFC vs. Reveal. I believe there is a trial period with the Reveal products. If you don't care for them you could return it. Double check that with Casey also.
I feel that the HF Reveal is a step up from the HF Ultimate series interconnects. Newer design, better sound, cheaper prices.
And yes, I believe there is a synergy with using the HF Reveal interconnects with the CT Speaker cables.
Also, with my CT power cords I am also using HF MC-.05’s at the outlets. Again some pretty good synergy.

@lak - thanks. yes, I am in touch with Casey. Great guy to work with.

@ozzy - I have Reveal on one leg (dac to pre) and GE on the other (pre to amp). Do you think I should complete the XLR loom with the Reveal, replacing the CT ?

I am using the MC-0.5 as well. I have the Lows orange 3 outlet extender - two of them holds the 0.5s and one goes to the power amp. I have to try the CT blue power cords of the amps. Do you know how they compare to others, like PS Audio AC-12 or the TWL ?
debjit_g,

Yes, as much as I think the CT interconnects are a fantastic value, I did find the Reveals add more snap to image quality. Especially, if using the CT speaker and power cords.

All the products you speak of are good. Based upon testing I've done with in my two systems I found that I preferred the CT Blue power cord over PS Audio AC-12 or the TWL.

Now to complicate matters:

After much testing, I prefer this power cord:

WWW.Audioarchon.com Mike Kay is the owner and the guy that makes the power cords. 847-687-4800 You would want the Blue power cord made with Furutech wire: FP-S022N Nano AuAg Bulk Power cable (14 gauge).

As a matter of fact if you can locate the parts you could make the power cord yourself. Your choice of any male plug and female IEC and Furutech Alpha Nano-Ag-Au Series FP SO22N wire 14 gauge.

One important tip is to make sure that Furutech's extremely effective signal transmission enhancer, Nano Liquid is used on the bare wire at both ends. Because of the extremely high price tag of the Nano Liquid, I chose to have Mike Kay build my power cords.

To hold cost down Mike uses a carbon plug and IEC that are rhodium plated copper all the way through input to output, instead of the typical less conductive bronze (probably made in China but looks and sounds good).

My guess is the Furutech selection of plugs and IEC might sound a bit better but that comes at a much higher price tag. I have no financial interest in the above power cord. Just trying to pass on a very good product.

As far as magnetic conduction is concerned it might be to your advantage to use a second pair of the Reveal interconnects and double up on that magnetic conduction. One never knows until they demo it!
