Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

I love them in the Wall Audio amps.  The only objective criticism I've heard is that they get so hot that the tube sockets can fail over time.  Just a matter of when.  I don't know if they're true, but there are stories about the tubes being used in Soviet fighter jets up until the end of the cold war and military factories pumping them out like crazy just to stay busy.
Thechean:  Thanks for asking.  fyi, I'm not asking for any special finish on my Brilliance PMD model, so the price differential won't be as large as you suggest. At any rate, I believe mine will be among the first of these that Eric has built, so all he has said is 'more of the good qualies of the Brilliance'  I'm lucky enough to live close enough to Eric so I can provide more specifics after the speakes are built.  Sorry I can't be more specific.

Thanks, everyone, for an informative thread. First post on Agon.

I am close to pulling the trigger on the DI’s. I currently am using Polk rti-A3 standpoint speakers and have their tweeters at ear level. With the DIs, the tweeter array will be quite a bit higher than my ears at my listening position. Does anybody else have the array above their ears? If so, is it a non-issue?

thanks!
