How good is your hearing ? And how do you know ?

Sometimes I have a big laugh when reading this forum. There are clearly people whose hearing is, shall I say, very special. So why buy good stuff ?

Wiki mentions I can hear " Bottlenose dolphins hear tones with a frequency up to 160 kHz with the greatest sensitivity ranging from 40 to 100 kHz. " so just chalk up to good hearing when I say I am a high frequency maven. So stop worrying what others can hear. worry if YOU can hear worth a spit.
