PC: Synergistic Tesla, Lessloss, Transparent MM

I have a hunch the Lessloss, while an excellent cord, may not provide the added sparkle you desire. In my system, the Lessloss cords do not highlight any particular frequency, and I have listened to a couple of power cords that provide more sparkle and perceived clarity in the highs and upper mids. The problem is that added sparkle in the top end often comes at the expense of midrange weight, IMO. It'd be beneficial for Lessloss if Liudas found a USA distributor who could offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

I have not heard the Tesla or Transparent cords.

You might take a look at the Tel Wire cord. In my system, used on my preamp or Modwright power supply, it did not have quite the body I like, but it had exceptional clarity and sparkle, and therefore might suit your needs nicely. Certainly worth a trial.

Yes Grant, I can't agree with you more that Liudas and Lessloss like other cable companies should have a 30 day money back guarantee. It will also open up more business for his company. I almost balked on the purchase in lieu of a trial period. On the issue of clarity, I have also found that with pc's it's hard to get increased clarity and weight, it seems that if you gain one, you lose the other.

I did balk on the purchase due to lack of trial period.

Because yours is a complaint I recall reading in several posts authored by PS Audio owners, I believe the PS Audio is the bottleneck in your system, not the power cords. I owned a PS Audio Ultimate Outlet, and the highs, dynamics and soundstage all suffered as a result.

I suggest running your cords directly to the wall as an experiment, and listening for the change. I'll bet the highs, sparkle and clarity return.

The Fusion Audio Predator is an all copper foil cable which sounds fantastic on my amp. It's copper, so it doesn't exhibit any of the leaness you get with silver. But because it's a foil based cable, it's extremely fast and extended in the treble. It is very neutral and transparent, however, so if you have any lean sounding cables elsewhere (ie silver interconnects), they will not be masked by the Predators. The more expensive Fusion cables contain silver, so they may not be what you're looking for. The Fusion cables are available for audition for $20/2 weeks, and I have heard that they outperform the lesser priced Tesla power cables.
