@audiolabryinth I got my clarus crimson speaker cables back in my system. I put them in and I put a nordost Tyr ic., a high fidelity ct 1 ic. , a robusto power cord on my classe ca 2200,a clarus crimson power cord on my cp800 and a mit ziii power cord on my ayon cd2s. The ayon has those nos 6h30 dr super tubes in it now and what I heard today is the best my system has sounded ever. It was clear clean detailed and musical all at the same time. The super tubes took my ayon to a another level. I put on melody gardot, four play and the buena vista social club as demos and it was amazing. I was think about selling my sonus faber luitos but now I think I might keep them. What I heard today really makes me happy. It has been a long road to get to this point. A long expensive road. But today it was worth it. I might do a few minor tweaks or I might go for the concert grands by vienna acoustic. But the ayon cd2s sounded like the expensive player I thought I was getting now it has the super tubes. All of this might not work for everyone but the tweaks have been great to experience. Everyone has thier preferences to brands or sounds but this combination makes me proud and satisfied however you know we all are crazy and we will try to improve it again. I will as well. Ha ha ha. @ calvinj, You never said how you heard about conus tubes?, I was told their pricing, It appears you are a good shopper, I believe you saved alot of money?,, How many total hours do you have on your Ayon 2s now?, this is important!, you need to keep up with the hour use period, so you will know when you should change the tubes, I need to know your total hours so I will know what your player is actually doing, At 450 hours, the 2s usually turns forward sounding period, I do not think you are at 450 hours, what total hours do you have, Cheers, Ayon brothers.

I think I am at 120 hours of use at this point. I have about 30 hours on the new tubes. I hope the tubes will have it continue to be balanced. I heard about conus through a grind and one of our acquaintances from Chicago said he was legit.

Also. It might be the tubes as well. I'm going to borrow my friends parasound cd1 to compare again.

@ calvinj,, Hi, remember, your Ayon 2s will change in sound dramatically at 430 to 450 hours of use, be prepaired, I hope the new Dr tubes do miracles and your player does not turn forward sounding when the ayon 2s gets to the hours stated here. keep me posted, ayon brothers.
