Ayon Audio Forum- all questions and suggestion

I'm thinking about getting a parasound cd1 or a Sony 5400. Or I might just get a server trying to get away from the discs. I got a cp800 classe it has a dac that is amazing. I'm trying to get away from the discs plus the ct-1 enhanced high fidelity cables sound really good. I might be able to get away from the discs with minimal loss in sound quality. I'm tired of getting up and changing discs.

@ calvinj, do the server, I am!, Krell just came out with one and won many recent awards around the world!, its at real world pricing to, really, I know you will like it!, this is by far my best recommendation to you!

Why not just build a server for a fraction of the price? I am going to build that should end up costing my about $1000. Not bad!

@audiolabyrinth, check out computeraudiophile.com. They have a whole section on servers you can either build yourself or purchase. The one I am going to build is the Carbon. It will have all the horsepower I need to stream high res files from my NAS. I will use JRiver to organize and play my music and my IPAD or Android tablet to control everything.
