Ayon Audio Forum- all questions and suggestion

I purchased a used Ayon -CD2 about a month ago. Paired it up with a Bryston 100sst intergrated, Reference 3a Veena using Actinote MB interconnects. Did not like the sound at all! Bright, unengaging, midrange congestion. Very depressing. Seriously thought about selling the Ayon and going back to my Bel Canto CD 2/DAC3 which sound great. Then I purchased a pair of Acoustic Zen Ref. II interconnects. Whole new world! Whole new CDP!

Good Luck with it all. I just found no matter what I did the sound would go through too meant changes. From day to day I would think I found a match then the sound would change again. For the amount of they charge for it. It should not be as difficult to match up as it is.

Parasound is sounding better each day. The cd 1 is the truth. Smooth open detailed vs cd2s. Forward edgy bright. Cd1 is a lot better

I had a customer bring over his AYON CD2s twice now and hooked up direct to my Atmasphere amps it was nothing short of amazing! Full bodied, extended, deep and controled bass...everything you could ask for it did.
I've also heard the Parasound and it did nothing for me, no life and had no involvement, I'd look elsewhere.
