Does anyone out there follow these guys? Jordan Rudess,John Petrucci and company have to be considered one of the most talented(musician wise)rock bands out there. I recently watched two of their dvd's and was blown away.
They certainly don't get the attention they deserve, but what rock bands do these days. Technically they are near perfection but I do think their material has been somewhat hit and miss with passed albums.
Liquid Tension is also very much worth giving a listen to.

I absolutely agree. They are stunning musicians from a technician's standpoint, and an incredibly tight band. I listened to them non-stop for about a year, and then I grew tired of them. Sometimes a ballad is a nice change of pace...even from bands like Dream Theater or Tool.
