Live classic 70s Southern ROck......

Hey folks...going on a road trip down to the deep south...and looking for some cool tunes to keep me company...at any rate here is what I was thinking:

One More for the ROad(Deluxe)
ABB-fillmore East (deluxe)
Maybe early zz top?

Any others?...

Live? Hmmm... If you can do without live, these will get you started:

Allman Brothers - Beginnings and Eat A Peach

ZZ Top - Tres Hombres

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd and Second Helping

Molly Hatchett - Molly Hatchett

38 Special - Wild Eyed Southern Boys and Rockin' Into the Night

All these bands have live albums and greatest hits collections. I tend to be an album purist.
North Mississippi Allstars-Shake Hands with Shorty.Great Rock'in Slide Guitar! And more early Allmans. And when your in Mississippi Standing at the Crossroads, Of Course Robert Johnson.......and The Great Elmore James.Enjoy The Grits n'Gravy....Catch some live Blues if you can and Stop by a Church and listen to some gospel music,an experience you will never forget........

Could REM make the list?

No. If you have to ask why, then you don't understand Southern Rock.
