Worst or Best Excuses!
I find this interesting. I don't tell my wife what any piece of my equipment cost, not even the cost of the $50 vinyl LPs I have. But I am afraid of one thing:That If I die today she would not know what to do with my equipment or how much to sell ...
Help search for a phono stage that fits my system
GinasI would strongly recommend that you seek out Modwright PH150 phono stage.  I have one plus an Allnic H3000. The Modwright sounds much better to me. You can check out "The Absolute Sound" review on it. You should at least give it a listen. If ...

AMR PH-77, ARC Reference 2, Allnic H-3000, Octave
Agucela You should look at the Modwright PH150.I have an Allnic H3000 which is now my backup due to the PH150. Everyone that heard them both in my system think the PH150 was much better. So check it out before you pull the trigger on a purchase.
VPI or Pro-ject
Devialet  is an excellent system. I heard it a on a few occasions and I was very impressed. I even met the Devialet rep from France at the Newport "The Show" last year. But I do think you should seriously consider an external phono stage.
VPI or Pro-ject
Mr Bill,The Project is a great TT but I would highly recommend the VPI Prime, this TT is out of the world and you would not regret it. I also think you should go and evaluate both TT if you can. What phono stage are you going to use?

Yesterday i tried the Cheater plug and it worked. It was definitely the Phoenix Engineering power supply causing the hum.  I don't want to use a cheater plug in my system so I will move things around this weekend to see if I can get rid of that gr...
