| B&K 200.5 S2 Power Amp problem - Please help If you run a dedicated outlet of 20A breaker and outlet to an Amp that has a 15A fuse, I`m quite sure you will blow the main fuse on the amp due to allowing 20A come through a 15A fuse. . . . very funny. | |

| Favorite Bert Jansch solo CD I have Crimson Moon on CD, and Rosemary Lane on vinyl. Both are excellent. If you like the Pentangle, you'll like them, no question. | |

| Adcom GFA-565's or Eagle 400 mono blocks not sure what you did pay or will need to pay for them, but assuming it's in the ballpark of what I've seen them listed for lately, doubt you'll find something better for less than twice the price. | |
| Adcom GFA-565's or Eagle 400 mono blocks I'm not familiar with the Adcoms, but have a lot of experience with the Eagles - though not the 400's. I'll be interested to hear if anyone has actually compared the 565 and the 400. I have an Eagle 2C', a 2C, and 2 Eagle 4's. You rarely see Eagle... | |

| B&K 200.5 S2 Power Amp problem - Please help can you elaborate on your statement - "all 5 channels, has had low output"? do they all have low output at the same time? Is it intermittent? | Totem... Bass? why have you restricted yourself to "book shelfs"? If you really intend to place them on bookshelfs, then you likely won't find a speaker that provides good bass and belongs on a bookshelf. If you intend to place them on stands, you really should ... | |
| Speakers that image best from corners 12' apart thanks to all for the suggestions. I'm actually intrigued by the Hornshoppe speakers - they also will complement a couple of vintage low power tube amps I have. Ckoffend - your suggestion of bookshelf speakers is particularly interesting, and time... | |

| Is age bad for solid state amps? at least one manufacturer recommends replacing capacitors every 10 years or so. Many mfg's though say don't bother til they break. Most other parts are good for nearly ever I believe, except maybe panel lamps, or electro-mechanical components such... | |
| Budget Phono Amp / Stage Recommendation? Musical Fidelity X-LP (the version 1) used. They can be found for ~$160 and are mm/mc switchable and excellent. |
