No properly designed power conditioner should hum. That one hums in response to a curling iron being used merely indicates faulty design or a manufacturing defect.

I don’t understand all the pushback regarding the use of a DAC chip simply because it’s inexpensive. It’s not like Redbook playback warrants the use of expensive DAC chips to justify a DAC purchasing decision.

@genjamon It’s not simply paralleled signal-carrying conductors. A lot of prior designs have that configuration. This is a different topology entirely. Read Doug’s article to appreciate the difference.
