My amp has no faults
Csontos, I am curious what you speakers are.
Amp + Speakers for a 13 ft X 10 ft room
Taking the upper limit of your per component price range combined at $1800:I'd look at something like Nola Boxers at $1500, and pair that with a solid used $300 integrated.

I will stand by my statement that it is absurd without the mention of speaker for context. See Atmasphere's atatement above. I have had a few amps that, when paired with particular appropriate speakers I felt exhibited no major faults. When I pair...

With no idea of your speakers, this question is a bit absurd.
Anyone listen to Zu Audio's Definition Mk3?
I differed with Gopher on the Atmas with Soul Superflys. I thought they were a great combo. But I was coming from the SS First Watt world, and wanted to retain some of the First Watt qualities while getting the benefits of a tube sound as well. Go...

Are the speakers going to be able to be away from the walls or not? That will affect your choices.

I would spend a good deal more on your speakers than your amp. Speakers will make a far greater difference, as long as the amp is well matched for them.
Older is better - D/A chip?
DACs are not all about the chips. Power supplies, analog output stages and clocking & jitter all play a role in achieving a certain sound with digital. Don't lay all the differences on the chip.

Tube Monoblocks in the 5-7K Range
Yes you do have a number of excellent options in your price range for sure.
Moving to Ireland from US
I'd agree that you might want to wait until you are there. Also, turntables don't always travel well, even if you have original packaging. I'd be worried about sending a TT overseas.Pink Fish Media seems to be a pretty active forum in the UK. You ...
Tube Monoblocks in the 5-7K Range
Charles1Dad makes very good points. Related to that, maybe think about an amp that can use a number of different types of tubes. In particular KT120s are getting a lot of praise these days

Rogue also has the triode/ultralinear switching on the fly. And if you look closely at the Stereophile review, it is suggesting that the Rogue has "the control" of a SS amp. Better control than a Pass amp? High praise in my book: "The biggest diff...
Tube Monoblocks in the 5-7K Range
I am not sure I would call Rogue SS sounding. Not my Stereo 90 at least. Where I find the Rogue does have characteristics similar to SS amps is in its bass extension, which is excellent.
