| 5U4G suitable for Dyanco ST-70? Sounds a bit hard to me. But sharply focused. I could see some preferring it best. But it lacks the golden glow of my favorite tubes if that makes sense. Perhaps a bit literal for my taste. | |

| I've decided to try Tubes I would go with the Quicksilver mini-mites and preamp. Self bias, uses kt88/6550/el34/6l6, etc., American made by hand. No retrograde circuit boards. A really nice combo for not a lot of money. | |
