Audiogon etiquette question
The way to proceed is to put a firm, and binding, offer in through the Audiogon offer system. The seller will then have 48 hours to accept your offer, decline it, counter it, or let it expire. Either way, you will have your answer.

Nagaoka MP-500 for a full and chunky sound, Ortofon 2m Black for a brighter sound. Also have a look at Soundsmith and Clearaudio.

If I were doing it, I would use a make and then break switch that would put the two loads in parallel and use a load resistor of much higher impedance then you are using so that in parallel with the speaker load it would still be within the accept...

I would put one EH tube in one channel and a 7308 in the other. If you have problems first switch sides and then sub the other 7308 for the one in the amp, then again switch the tubes side for side. This will tell you if the issue lies with one ch...

I usually retension the sockets as well using a dental tool to gently pull out the metal receivers that make contact with the tube pins. Sounds like you have solved the problem.It's all system dependent but IMHO the Amperex tubes should be a large...

Yes, it's from the Panor Dyna years, when Panor got control of the name. They were formerly Stereo Cost Cutters. Good build quality and nice sound as you point out.Panor made a few tube amps as well. The Dyna ST70 MKii was a bit of a turkey, IMHO....
