Tube amp suggestions mate with Audionote pre and Tannoy gold monitors

The Audio Note is an OTL friendly speaker- and Tannoys are too- we have customers using both.  I don't see the need for autoformers with our amps using either speaker.

You don't need a lot of power with either- 60 watts should be plenty.

PK, I'm glad to see you've finally found a direction in building enclosures for your 12" MG's. With my 12" HPD's, I have used a laundry list of amps, from flea-watt variety up to 500 Wpc. What I use now is an SET 300B, which is mostly used when doing all-tube vinyl listening, and a 500 Wpc Class D amp. Both of those work fine. I have used VAC, (35 Wpc EL 35 amp), Aragon 300 WPC Solid State, First Watt M2 (25 WPC), Plinius SA 101. 

My current set of amps are my favorites, though. Good luck to on your Cheviot build, I hope they will be all you could ask for. 

Art Audio Jota HC is a good choice for 300B SET sound with plenty of reserve power headroom at 24 watts per channel. Look for used at your price point.

I'm not familiar with the Legend Mono's but very familiar with the Interstage Mono's 8w version and the Kit 1. Both are excellent sounding and paired with your AN M3 will be an awesome match. Very open with superior sound stage depth and imaging rendered in 3D. Very natural sounding.
