KEF blades 2 or Dynaudio C4?
In my experience of spending countless hours infront of REF 1/3/5 and Blade/2, plus many other brands, as mentioned the REF’s are truly outstanding in every aspect, build quality, design, sound reproduction and also hand built here in the good old ...
Another Speaker Recommendation Request
Also consider KEF reference 3’s, or hold out for the new KEF R series range (cheaper then current reference) with good amplification they are great esp lower level listening Providing they get the current
Class D Audio
If think this isn’t fair on Tom, since the accident he’s been far from upright, in fact he’s been bed bound for a few months now, and we all know the accident was down to his small high end issues. I mean seriously who thinks it’s ok to ride a mot...
Can You Recommend a Good High Res Digital Audio Player?
Also check out Simaudios Moon Mind 180, seeing a few on the used market now. Software/apps work a treat now, originally a bit clunky but now all the issues have been ironed out. Audio reproduction is sublime supporting all the formats and resoluti...
KEF Reference 5-Isoacoustics GAIA?
I’m supprised at that, as the Blades cabinet isolation is incredible. not doubting what you say, just surprised it was noticeable with the Blades as I found the supplied accessory pack fantastic on the Blades. Will have to look into that
KEF Reference 5-Isoacoustics GAIA?
The Kef Ref ranges cabinets are some of the best in their price point, there is a believe a white paper online for them explaining how they are made. Personally I’d be looking elsewhere in the system especially as you already have them sat on a ha...
KEF Reference 5-Isoacoustics GAIA?
What cables are you using? Silver? Worth a check. Toe in May help, biggest changes to my Ref system was, cabling, source and material played (resolution etc) then amplification. Nordic Amps partner well as well as other UK kit. To be fair as long ...
WI-FI ROUTERS and Modems. BEST!! brand and why.
Just don’t buy the newest latest kit as your playing with beta firmware versions. This goes for pretty much anything computer related or anything that has a firmware. Netgear kit as a whole will look after you, for wired just spend the money and g...
Amplifier ideas with KEF Reference 1
The Hegel 590 is a killer amp, heard recently running blades! Incredible. regarding the looks, understated yes, but personally I’d rather this than the extra expense going into looks and style.also consider the Arcam class G kit, P/A49 etc... agai...
Suggestions for Full Range Speakers up to 10K
Have a listen to the new KEF reference range , everyone in the range to me sounds sublime. I personally prefer the sound over B&W. The Kef boys certainly know there stuff, great company and strong design team.
KEF KUBE 10b or 12b w/LS50 Wireless?
The good old man cave, it’s about the only thing we men have left that allows us to flex a little testosterone, we’re a dying bread my friend lol.Yes I was referring to the Aperta stands earlier.  The LS50w was designed in a way to make it as easy...
KEF KUBE 10b or 12b w/LS50 Wireless?
They are great stands by the way, I use the KEF X300A in my office desk mounted and they are fine, or should I say, good enough for the purpose etc.i was at the official UK launch of the LS50 and the new LS50w, both are excellent speakers, with th...
KEF KUBE 10b or 12b w/LS50 Wireless?
The LS50 is an excellent speaker for sure, the Kube will fill in the missing sub, but without the same finesse as the LS50. The 50’s do work better on stands and IMHO have plenty of low end when set up right. R400b would be a better match, used pr...
Items for sale here and on ebay without remotes....
@stereo5 at least we all now have the answer as to where all the missing remotes disappear up into  😳 hand sanitizer anyone? 😂
