Looking for an Integrated Amplifier to match Totem Rainmaker Speakers
@gcknapp Thanks for sharing your experience with the 50A.  I love the look, form factor, and functionality of Creek integrateds.  Do you think that model is a considerable step up from my Rotel RA-12?

@big_greg I’m in Portland, OR and am aware of Gig Harbor Audio. Do you know if they ship Heed products? I’m not seeing Heed available on their online webstore.

@big_gregI have read about the Heed Elixir, and it checks a lot of boxes for me, but unfortunately no local dealer to check them out.  Would be contender for sure.I listened to the Rega Brio R with the Totems and I liked what I heard.  The Elex-R ...
Looking for an Integrated Amplifier to match Totem Rainmaker Speakers
Currently it’s a toss up between the Rogue Sphinx II or the Rega Elex-R. A local dealer has a really good deal on a demo model of the Rega that’s very tempting. The Rogue seems like a no brainer too, but I tend to prefer Class A/B and am hesitant ...

@yogiboy Thanks.  Been eying the Sphinx too.  I've never had a tube amp before.  Our TV audio will be running through this system as well.  Do you think TV audio with tubes will be overkill?

@smrex13 & @georgehifi The power rating noted on the back of the Totems is 20-100 watts.  I'm not very knowledgeable on the technical side.  Can you help me understand why I'd want to go over the the 100 watts of power recommended on the speak...

Thanks, folks.  I'm putting Rega, Bryston, Ayre, and Simaudio on top of my list.  I'm patient and definitely willing to demo as much as I can.Yesterday I demoed the the Rega Brio R with Totem Rainmakers and I was really happy with the sound.  Also...

Thanks, everyone!  All great suggestions.Rega, as well is Simaudio (if I can find what I need in my budget) are definitely high on my list.  Also considering Heed Elixir, and Creek Evolution 50A.  Anyone have thoughts on those?
Streamer Advice: Bluesound Node 2 vs Aries Mini vs Oppo

@rhljazz Thanks for sharing!  What DAC are you using with your Node 2i? I'm definitely settled on picking up a Node 2i.
Streamer Advice: Bluesound Node 2 vs Aries Mini vs Oppo
@tketcham I think this was the exact response I was hoping to get.  I've learned that if I go with an Oppo the 105 is the way to go.  But I hear what you're saying in regard to a used mechanical device, and whether software for this player will co...
Streamer Advice: Bluesound Node 2 vs Aries Mini vs Oppo
@castThanks for replying!  This is good info.  I've read that the Node 2i has a step up in SQ compared to the previous Node 2.  I'm really interested in the Aries Mini, but man, it is hard to come by one for sale.
Streamer Advice: Bluesound Node 2 vs Aries Mini vs Oppo
It's also worth noting that I plan on using the internal DAC of whichever streamer/component I end up with.
Streamer Advice: Bluesound Node 2 vs Aries Mini vs Oppo
All great advice, tips, and info!!!  Thanks everyone! So sounds like it's not worth holding out for an Aries Mini.  I see one come up maybe once a month or so (searching via eBay or Hifishark), but it does seem like owners are not letting those go....
