There is a US importer, Beyond HiFi. He's in Austin. I would reach out to him. His name is Joshua.
If you still spin CD's their is a reference level Transport for reasonable money
@wig I'm also very interested in your findings, as I am considering this transport as well, to replace my Musical Fidelity M1 and my April Music Stello CDT100.
DENAFRIPS Terminator & Jay’s Audio CDT-3 MK2, A Review
@bluewolf  thanks for the great review. I've been looking for a great transport that I can actually afford, and this seems like it might be the one. I currently have an April Music CDT 100, but the Jay's sounds like it betters it, and not insignif...
Technics Sp10 Mk2 vs SL-1200G - I finally did an A/B
I currently have a MK2, and am planning on using it sans plinth. Could anyone point me in the direction of someone that could make a tonearm pod? Or some that are heavy and already made, but not crazily expensive?I heard the MK3 at Albert Porter's...
Linear Power Supply for a DAC
I'm not sure how we can say no one has ever lost money with a guy, right after someone has said that they've lost money with a guy. I am grateful to anyone that lets us know that they've not had the best dealings with an individual, especially if ...
How good is the Obsidian plinth of Technics SP10 ?
Thank you very much Lewn. It's good to know I don't have to spend crazy amounts of money to get a good plinth! Especially a slate one.

How good is the Obsidian plinth of Technics SP10 ?
Lewn,How does the price of your plinth compare to the price of an OMA or Albert Porter plinth? I'm picking up a MK2 today and I'm looking into plinths, but I don't want to spend a ton of money on a plinth.
Austin Texas area Audio folks?
I recently moved to Austin and I'm dying to hear what I know must be some amazing systems here.I lived in Dallas for a while and was spoiled by Albert Porter's weekly listening sessions.

Piano is one of the main things I use when evaluating a system/component/change in my system. Particularly for imaging. If a system can't put a piano together seamlessly, front to back and side to side, then I know there's work to do still.
Need recommendation for CD transport (not Cambridge)
My Musical Fidelity is slot loaded. I haven't run into any big issues, beyond the occasional disc being in the machine but not loading. I'd prefer a top loader, but I don't mind the slot.

The Musical Fidelity is a very good transport by the way.

twoleftears, what was the reason Audio Advisor gave for not getting the Pro Ject?I have a Musical Fidelity M1 CDT transport, and I thought about getting the Pro Ject.
Seeking Advice on NOS DAC
Don’t know if you’ve heard of or thought of MHDT Labs, but I have their Balanced Pagoda, and it sounds amazing. Particularly with good tubes. I too and a big fan of the NOS sound, after having had a Scott Nixon DAC for a long while.I highly recomm...

Minus the ridiculous political diversions, this is an amazing thread. I particularly love that it has survived (audio related) diversions and been nothing but informative and entertaining. I’m very much wanting to hear more of everyone’s opinions ...
