yes to spikes. Also bass traps in the corners behind the speakers. It will be a very noticeable improvement.

I cant tell if u have spikes on your speakers. If not, you need to get them raised off the floor. I also have a limited space situation and I'm using furniture sliders under my spiked speakers. I move the speakers away from the walls for listening...

UPDATE... Many thanks to Mofimadness for the referral to Rick at Audio Alternatives. He replaced a bent pulley spindle and added new caps. I'm amazed he had the parts.

Yes, 20 amp dedicated line. Some people with monoblocks run (2)20 amps lines, one per amp and then split off these lines for the rest of their gear.
