Audio research 100.2 any good ????? I personally would not have put any NAD in the league of a 100.2 either. Here is a thread asking about a couple of Integrateds... Read through it, a lot of good suggestions. https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/which-integrated-amp-would-you-pick
Audio research 100.2 any good ????? These are both good amps, as long as there is enough power, I'd rather listen to the Audio Research.... This model is a great sounding little amp, but its getting a bit old.
Recommendation for Improvement over McCormack DNA-225 Actually I would recommend that everyone try a different outlet. I've tried a few of the more affordable. You can hear improvements in a $40 to $200 outlet, So I don't call them snake oil....I also have power conditioning on my preamp and Dac, ...
Recommendation for Improvement over McCormack DNA-225 I do agree that a fuse and a new outlet can make a difference, but to send someone down this road which in net expense between an amp mod, new outlets and fuses vs getting a clearly better amp like the Coda or Pass makes no sense to me. You should...
Atmasphere amps trustable? So, mtoc, it sounds like Atmosphere makes a solid product. Some of his products have more tubes than I can count, but I wouldn't blink at owning one and as your have heard, the Owner Ralph Karsten is a stand up guy and will certainly stand beh...
Recommendation for Improvement over McCormack DNA-225 Thanks jmcgrogan2..... you bought the refurb? That means the dwolek has to fend for himself.... Congrats, this is a very nice sounding amp. Maybe dwolek can get a few bucks off the previously enjoyed amp... really though. I would expect this ...
Recommendation for Improvement over McCormack DNA-225 Hi Dwolek, Remember the Coda boys came from Pass/Threshold, they have a similar flavor and Coda oem's for Sanders & others with some highly touted amps. Not steering you from Pass, but don't be afraid of the Coda. Went back and looked at...
Ice Amp 125ASX2 That amp needs a few hundred hours burn in
Loudspeakers have we really made that much progress since the 1930s? Heil is a folded ribbon, funny, I've got a pair from a pair of ESS from 1978 that I'm building a 12 inch 3 way with now also... but I believe the first ribbon was from quad in the early to mid 50's.
Any Bluetooth wireless speakers that you like? Purchased this for my wifes workout room.... ended up surprising me.... I received a separate letter after purchase that said that it had a 90 day no questions asked return and they would pay shipping as well as a 1 year unconditional warranty for...
Recommendation for Improvement over McCormack DNA-225 There is a Coda CSX listed on US Audio Mart for $2600. This is a detailed yet smooth musical amplifier 330 watts to 8 and 660 watts to 4. Not sure if they would deal or not, but sure fits the bill. Good Luck, Tim
Which integrated amp would you pick? I have Coda at the moment, I don't own the Belles. The outboard power supply does make sense.
Which integrated amp would you pick? There is more press on the Heed than the Belles? I've read 2 reviews on the Heed Integrated, 1 says that it is 35 watts and the other says that it is 40 watts, the Heed website says that it is 50 watts and I can't find any 4 ohm ratings... 1 re...
Which integrated amp would you pick? Not sure what it runs, but the Belles Aria is pretty special, I haven't heard this Model Musical Fidelity, but i've heard other MF, I'm sure its a quality piece and the Parasound is well done also. I haven't heard them on anywhere near the same ...
Pass Labs X-1 vs XP-20 I don't know if you are looking for a different flavor than the Pass, but Coda 07X has a very similar sound signature as the Pass. I do know of 2 People that have chosen it over Pass products. Coda has a returned unit listed on ebay right now f... |
