Unfortunately I do have a bad habit of being sucked into GK arguements, much against my better judgement. Must try harder.
I do tend to visit some of the threads he inhabits as the threads themselves can be intriguing until trashed.
From my own posting viewpoint I generally have little to offer on any technical side( unless you want to talk 460v heavy manufacturer electronics!).
I also try not to offer too much in the way of opinions as they can be as much help as rubbing salt in open wounds.
If I have actual ownership experience then sure I will contribute and hopefully it helps somebody.
Mostly nowadays I stick to music threads and my own threads where I am usually asking questions and looking for assistance.

Hard to believe but GK and Glupson appear to be getting even worse with no regard for the actual thread subject matter or any other poster.
I wonder if they were reported to admin they might earn a time out?

You could well be right although I do know that the few posts I have reported when I felt they really overstepped the mark were only deleted after I reported them.
I was thinking more along the lines of reporting the actual members.
And yes I believe you are correct that GK posting has increased rapidly likely due to being banned from other sites.
I also believe he is after the highest post count, Mapman right now, and posting any old twoddle to get there.
On another note entirely, how DO you add a signature to your posts so is always there. Or do you have to add it manually every post? |
Question for anybody who might be able to assist.
Trying to figure out what sort of cartridge weight and compliance to shoot for on my Nottingham Spacedeck.
It has the Spacearm but info seems to be limited on the arm from what I see, nothing much useful in vinyl engine.
Was planning on trying a more upmarket cart for Xmas but no plan to buy the wrong cart!.

I have the Goldnote ph10. Amazing versatility.
Really nice to be able to change settings on the fly right from front panel.
Like now I have been changing loading slightly to suit the quality of the album recording being played. |

Fyi, old rocker here and my tastes do not stray far from rock, blues, acoustic rock etc.
Price is somewhat open but not to kiseki purple heart pricing at $3200.
