Or are you speaking from speculation based upon assumed principles?
That's our Randy!!!
I would buy a Porter Port before I bought Maestro duplex receptacle. The Maestro starts out as a Cooper BR20 duplex outlet. At Lowe’s, $3.47 https://www.audioasylum.com/messages/tweaks/202332/re-impressions-of-the-furutech-gtx-d-r-outlet-non... https://www.lowes.com/pd/Cooper-Wiring-Devices-20-Amp-125-Volt-Brown-Duplex-Electrical-Outlet/100005... http://www.cruzefirstaudio.com/maestro_outlet.htm OP, A non breakable nylon duplex plate will work just fine. randy-111, You want a solid connection (for the amp) - nothing else matters at an AC power outletWrong on so many levels. Jim |
Some more data to consider: I built a power box with 6 outlets and put a fancy stainless steel faceplate on it so it would look nice. I then decided to try a lightweight nylon faceplate after getting rid of ferrous materials in my power cords.. the nylon faceplate definitely sounds better. As for which faceplate you should get.. that's beyond my paygrade |
