Carvin Audio, RIP. A little late.

Sad to have just learned that Carvin Audio is closing/has closed after 70-ish years.  Mostly pro audio, guitar and bass amps, etc., after shifting guitars to Kiesel.  But, I believe some folks used some of Carvin's gear for home audio with some level of success.

Have a gorgeous spalted maple top custom job.

Maybe my Steve Vai Legacy 3 stack becomes an instant classic.

The V3 Micro head is a great solution for rock/blues rock.  Small and light weight, well screwed together, scalable power, great variety of distorted tones.  And reasonably priced.
There are fewer people today compared to decades past willing to spend the time and effort to learn to play a musical instrument! So overproduction has been hurting ALL companies - not just Carvin!   Rap is now the prevalent music for young people. For that only a beat box is needed - not a guitar!

Is that true? On what do you base this claim?
