Well, when the claim was that it removed digital grunge.. I think that was the ’takes the cake’ moment. Since digital grunge arises inside the DAC chip. I would have to ponder a lot more mysterious means of a contact product managing that one. As I wrote, I could certainly understand if the digital grunge became more clearly focused. but the claim it was REMOVED becomes stuff of legend. Really.
As I also wrote I just spent $7000 For a Marantz SA-10 to get better CD sound. And oddly a few CDs sound WORSE. Which for all my praise of the SA-10, I was mystified. But I think those CDs just have some flaw, perhaps lower than 16bit recording was used.(One thing I have not done is play those ON THE SA-10 drive, the problem is only via Toslink from a 5 disc changer, so far I have put them aside to test them IN the Marantz own drive Two I remember are :Denon label Music of the impressionists, and Santana first album) So of hundreds of CDs I have played, three so far, seem to be worse.in some odd way, ) Now THAT is being honest. The Marantz is fantastic, but still there are a few problems. HONEST. not gushing endless praise.
(the next sentence is in friendly humor ONLY: I am surprised you are not claiming the graphene tweak does your dishes, and makes wonderful dinners out of leftovers. Polishes your shoes too.)
