| Hegel Amplifiers The H10 (special edition-only 30 made world wide) was $12,000. The H20 is $5500. Do you think Hegel would do that to it's H10 owners? That is, build a better amp right away, for over 2x LESS? But, in all reality, the Hegel H30 would be a better ma... | |
| Best preamp for my system. I also bought Burmester 077 aftr listening to too many preamps. Now I can relax and enjoy. | |
| Venture Audio Speakers Please let me know if you ever sell your Venture speakers. They hardly ever show up on the used market. I now know why! | |
| Venture Audio I bought a pair of Venture CR-8 Signatures. They are about 35% better in all aspects concerning sound than my JM Labs/Focal Alto Be's. If anyone will be selling any current Venture Audio speakers, please let me know. | |
| The 3 kings: Esoteric K01,EMM XDS1,Meridian 808.3 I don't know how to be more delicate in saying this, but Burmester Top or Reference Line is the best in the world without a doubt, period, end of discussion. If you value all the best things from valves and vinyl with the reliability of solid stat... | |
| Preamp Deal of the Century Just heard a Burmester 088 preamp. Has all the magic of tubes, and the strength of SS. It does not get better than this folks! | |
| Audio Research vs Burmester Audio I have had a Burmester 089 CDP/DAC/Pre for several months now, and just picked up a 911 MK3, and I am blown away by sound of this combination. It is totally transparent, dynamic, detailed and the most analog sounding SS match I have ever heard, ev... | |
| The best speaker you ever heard? I would have to say hands down, it would be Venture speakers. The crystal clarity of the highs with it's transparency, the mids with it's life like human voicing, and the incredible slam in their mid-bass and bass. And on top of that, those beauti... | |
| Pass Labs 150.5 suitable? Boy, someone kept awake during high school physics class. You guys sure know your electrical engineering! | |
| USB cable..what do you have. The Locus Axis is awesome! | |
| Why do no audio enthusiasts use McIntosh? In my 30 years as a 'recorded music' fan, I have not heard anything as stunning as Burmester electronics, a company started by a musician/engineer. Burmester has all the virtues of tubes, with the quickness of ss. I had a McIntosh MCD500 for a yea... | |
| Electrocomp. vs. Hegel -The battle of Norway Very true Bill_k. My Hegel H10 was outstanding for it's price to performance ratio. The whole Hegel line is quite a modern day bargain. I only went up to the amazing Burmester 911 MK3because I wanted to get the best amp in the world. | |
| Hegel Amplifiers In all fairness to the Hegel H10, it held it's own pretty good against the more expensive Burmester 911 MK3. But, the 911 MK3 is much better in all aspects that one considers in a SOTA amplifier. | |
| Amplifiers:A Keeper for Life. Do you know of one ? I will have to second the Burmester 911 MK3. Has all the virtues of tubes, and all the best virtues of SS, and all in a beautiful modern design. 2 thumbs way up!! | |
| Hegel Amplifiers Thanks, and the new Hegel H30 mono's are also $30K a pair. :) |
