I had the Parasound 1000 before acquiring the Cambridge about the same time as Trelja. The Parasound was nice but VERY rolled off in terms of resolution of inner detail and imaging. Some would say that lended an analog-like quality to the Parasoun...

Access/Use Restrictions-Listening Room
When each of my kids reached the age of 12, I taught them to safely use and respect firearms, but I still never let them anywhere near my ET II Tone Arm.

I give up on HT
Yo Avguy, I considered that before I moved the tv and 6.1 receiver, etc to the long wall, but apart from imaging, I was concerned about all that amplification and processing going on in the same neighborhood as my tube pre-amp. Not to mention dres...
I give up on HT

My favorite tv show is Netflix as I fired Time Warner a few months ago for poor service and there is no broadcast tv to speak of here in the Delta Quadrant. I get a new movie in the mail every few days and especially like getting things I would ha...
A Tombstone in the Living room????
nillthepill-it appears that you paid less than 1/3 the going rate for kitchen countertop INSTALLED for your granite so you didn't do TOO bad.Speaking of which...I'm wondering about taking an 1 1/4" thick slab of granite and tightly surrounding it ...
Guilty Pleasures
Stan Freberg's "History of the United States, Part One" which myself and 2 amigos knew all the dialogue AND songs at age 14. Still do and play it (and laugh) all the time.
A Tombstone in the Living room????
$20 for a piece of granite is not that unusual as granite dealers usually have "remnants" just like carpet dealers.Don't limit your search to tombstone makers, unless you live in the boonies, like me, there will be granite and marble fabricators wh...
