Steve Wilson, To the Bone

uberwaltz,
Thanks for the heads up. I'm familiar with most of the above. I own some of The Police and Tears for Fears. I don't recall Talk Talk or Ultravox.
I ordered Crowded House, Alone Together and Woodface, (Deluxe Edition) last evening. After a quick wiki search, I learned Crowded House was formed in Australia/New Zealand.
I remembered Simple Minds, "Don't You", a classic and "Lies Lies" maybe a few more when I go digging into them.
Right now, Kansas, Song for America

CHEERS! TO "GONE WITH THE RAIN"😎 |
Mesgana Ethiopia - Gigi / Material (African Pop) |
My second concert was Mountain, when I was a sophomore during the Climbing tour, and it was vey exciting. I saw them another time after that, and then Leslie and Corky with Jack Bruce when I was in college. |
Mountain Climbing. I See some Robin Trower fans here. One of the best Concerts i ever heard and saw was Mountain when their Nantucket Sleigh ride album was just released. The Opening Act was Procol Harum with Robin Trower on Guitar. I was a Junior in High School. To me there is nothing like the sound of this Era and i kook for gear that sounds like it.

Btw reubent, the Danger Money album is a lot more coherent , musical and focused than the s/t U.K album is. Just my opinion of course.... |
The Album Leaf / A chorus of storytellers
|
@reubent .
It was just by chance I went to the LRS today and wandered into the prog rock section and spied the pair.
However I do appreciate your gesture, guess it will just have to gather dust on your shelves for now. |
@uberwaltz - was out of town for family wedding when I saw your reply about UK. I was going to ping you and send you my copy of the S/T LP. Anyway, glad you found both of them and I hope you enjoy..... |
|
Danny Joe Brown and the Danny Joe Brown Band.
I have had this record in my eBay watch list for months but could not bring myself to pay what they were asking.
Then at the LRS today I spied it at half the price... Done deal!
|
Open Fire ... Y&T.
One of the better "hair bands" imho.
Summertime Girls is hilarious if you have ever seen the video to it.

Even though some were not impressed. LOL. A trip to the LRS got me not one but both U.K albums on vinyl and pristine.
