Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Based on some recent comments, I pulled out my old copy of UK's self-titled first album. First time I've listened to it in 20-30 years. Anyway, after listening to it, I realize why I haven't listened to it in 20-30 years. Not a fan. Really great musicians and great playing. I just don't care for the compositions. |
Off the beaten track, on YouTube on my new iPad, MC5 live Ramblin’ Rose/Kick out the Jams, George Harrison tribute concert with the absolutely amazing guitar of Prince on While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Johnny Winter live at Woodstock, Canned Heat On the Road Again at Woodstock. Excellent sound with plain old vintage Sony earbuds or whatever they’re called. |
