A brutal review of the Wilson Maxx
Thanks Oneobgyn, good suggestion. That didn't work. Actually the credit for these questions goes to Klaus at Audio Asylum. He did write to Stereophile and was ignored. He was ignored online when asking Stereophile reviewer's the same questions. So...

R_F_ Sayles, I'm not. Once again Stereophile sidesteps my questions.

Grooves - Questions Stereophile never answers. Could you be so kind as to let me know?RE: coloration in speakers. In the interest of defining "coloration":1) Why can't Stereophile measure / publish speaker distortion? The on-line mag SoundStage do...

Musical Fidelity A3.2 Integrated vs. others
Suits me your right. Must have missed the 1.6 when posted.
Musical Fidelity A3.2 Integrated vs. others
M-F uses bi-polar transistors. They produce high current but high frequencies are harsh. MOSFET's like in Creek amps are softer and tubelike but not quit as transparent or powerful. J-Fets are said to be better than both but I don't know of any co...

Sean, you seem to have a lot of knowledge about speakers but when I e-mail you with links to a bunch of different drivers you never respond. What gives?
Less fatiquing
I agree with Odavid9. Why is it that we always have to spend MORE money if there is something about the sound we don't like?
Sound of chip amps / gainclones?
Bemoptil23, I've got my Tang-Band W4-1320SA half way completed. They have a F-R designed for near-wall or O-B (open baffle). I also considered the FR-125 but has a 5dB boost to the bass and a correspondingly low SPL of 85 dB. Why loose efficiency ...
Sound of chip amps / gainclones?
Gmood1, good to hear from you. You got the patek from Peter Daniel's? From what I've read the LM3875 chips like a tube pre while a good T amp does better with a passive. I'm also looking at the Charlize amp. Which supposedly does not have the HF b...
